Brian Andrews - KBRF-AM Morning Show Host, Farm Director and Program Director, I also produce Morning Talk Magazine for Greg Brady and Mary Dolan. bandrews@lakesradio.net
Hobbies/interests: I seem to find myself watching a lot of TV, believe it or not, I like listening to the radio, I have started to do a little bit of fishing. I like driving my truck and listening to the Twins, Vikings, NDSU Bison. I also like watching a good western movie.
Favorite website: I don't really have a favorite, but I do check my e-mail a lot, so by default it might be a toss up between Hotmail and Yahoo.

Favorite TV Shows: M*A*S*H, the Sopranos and Deadwood when it was on HBO, and now, I've found re-runs of Becker. Life is good!

Career Path: Graduated from Brainerd H.S. Brainerd, MN Class of 72'. Enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1972, retired from the Air Force in 1992. Basically learned how to "do" radio at Keflavik Naval Air Station, Iceland, and have been trying to hone my skills ever since. I've worked in radio in Dayton, OH, Bemidji, MN, Fargo, ND, Nebraska City, NE, and now Fergus Falls, MN.

Family stuff: I have been married to my lovely bride Patricia since 1973. We have two kids, Daniel, and Nathan. Daniel lives in the cities and Nathan lives in Fargo, ND. Most recently we found out we are grandparents to an American Boxer named Allie. It's a girl, does that make me a grandmother? I like to tell folks she really, really resembles my lovely bride's side of the family.

Favorite Quote: From my mom, "When you go out in life, you're going to find there are more horses rear ends( I am paraphrasing of course) than there are horses" So far she's a genius!

Favorite artist/music: I really enjoy most music, but, prefer music from the 40's, 50's 60's and most of the 70's. I very much enjoy a good horn band, like Chicago, Ides Of March, Blood Sweat and Tears, but I also enjoy Blues and Big Band music too.

Join me in the morning, starting at 5 AM,  on "Good Neighbor Radio" 1250 AM, KBRF.

Greg Brady
Operations Manager
Mornings, Z103 Morning Show
Co-Host " Morning Talk Magazine " - KBRF
I've been in Fergus Falls with Lakes Radio since 2000, before that I've worked in The Fargo and Detroit Lakes markets.   I'm originally from the East coast but have pretty much been accepted into the Sensible Midwestern Lifestyle.
I am a functioning workaholic, and can usually be found at our studios, or helping engineers resolve some technical difficulty at 2am, or at a live action remote broadcast soaking up some local community flavor.

Z103.3 fm is one of my favorite things about Lakes Radio, and I am a fan of all of the artists we play on "The Heart Of Rock".  I also play guitar in my spare (ha!) time.

Co-hosting the Morning Talk Magazine with Mary Dolan & Brian Andrews helps me feed my news habit, and keep plugged in to the community.

Mary Dolan

I have been with Lakes radio since May of 1982. That was my start in the radio business and now it's "in my blood!"  I actually answered an ad on the radio for a copywriter.  For some reason, they hired me and I began working my way through the ranks!  While seated at my typewriter ( I know, that dates me!) the manager came to me and said, "Today's the day.you're going on the air!"  He took me in the studio and told me to "start pushing buttons until I figured it out!"  True story: baptism by fire!  I've been enjoying my career in radio ever since!

Our morning talk show, "Morning Talk Magazine," is as much fun as I've ever had in the business.  It's a pleasure to work with Greg Brady and Brian Andrews and be the token girl on the show!  Everyday, they make me laugh until I have to re-apply my make up! I've always said if laughter were aerobic exercise, I'd be a stick!

My midday shift on Z103 is a fun part of what I do, too!  I love the music, and it sure doesn't feel like work! (Hope the general manager doesn't take away my paycheck, though!)

My passion outside of radio is a new grandbaby, Griffin , who I adore and spoil at every opportunity!  Other loves include living half the year at Lake Lida, my favorite place in the whole world!

I hope they let old people work in radio because I intend to keep at it for a long time!

Susan Kay:  I'm the Public Service Director of Lakes Radio and on my 4 th year here. I also have a show every weekday from 10a-11a on KBRF 1250AM that focuses on area happenings, events and all that is public service related to help benefit our community. It is a pleasure, honor and very humbling to meet so many members of our community who give so much of their time and effort in making our community stronger.

Hobbies/Interests: I LOVE the Minnesota Wild!!! And especially going to a Wild game with my husband and daughter! Ok, I admit it, I'm a gamer, I so enjoy playing PS2 with my family and many board games! In addition to fishing, biking, rock & shell collecting and any activity involving my family.

Favorite TV Shows: Lost, Survivor, anything on the History Channel and most shows on the Discover Channel! I secretly watch those hilarious 'reality shows' on VH1, but only for a good laugh!! ( and I'm a News junkie too!)

I'm Married to my husband Scott (going on 9 years!) proud mother to our daughter, and life is good!

Quote: "Don't let WANT be your MASTER!" (From my Dad)
